All having the same problem During System Restore the last check point that is being used is around one month back when the computer was working fine. The last checkpoint Shown is normally the day before but will monitor and update. In system Restore it is just saying system check point Also after the reformat, AV has been installed SP3 also installed.

Windows XP freezes on login screen. Hi, the problem that i have is when i start up my pc it will freeze on the Windows XP loading screen the splash screen with the loading bar, just before the welcome log-on page. This is mostly when i start up my pc manually but if i restart my pc in windows it will not freeze.

What do you think could be the reason for this? I was suspecting the power supply, but also after changing the psu it seems that it isnt the psu. I really don't understand.
